Only one more sleep before the official opening of the 2021 edition of the International Motorshow Luxembourg, this coming Friday 19th November on the dot of 14.00hrs. An event offering a fresh start with as ambition that of gaining recognition as being the unmissable end of year meeting for all enthusiasts of two and four wheels in the Grand Duchy … And above all, an IMS Luxembourg not to be missed, for ten good reasons … at least!

1.Two years later …

The public health crisis obviously reared its head. Having skipped over 2020 in order to comply with the regulations in force, the International Motorshow is back! It goes without saying that the car and motorbike market experienced turbulences during this period and remains fragile, but the general public will have the opportunity to once again visit the halls of Luxexpo – The Box and discover all the best makes! The machine is up and running again …

2.It’s already tomorrow!

If on the one hand the ingredients that made a success of the IMS Luxembourg since more than 20 years are still there, more than ever the event organised by Pole Position has every intention of keeping with the times when it comes to mobility and solutions for the coming years. And the representatives of the various makes fully understood this. Outcome: visitors will be able to evaluate the manufacturers’ proposals in the field of new energies. More than ever a Motorshow on the move…

3.Spotlight on the two-wheel machines

Within the ranks of Pole Position, the motorbike is at least as important as the car! The privileged contacts with the various makes resulted in the presence of the market’s major players, only too delighted to exhibit their last born. And it is a known fact that it is in the heart of autumn and winter that the bikers prepare the following season…

4.FIM Historic Event: the exhibition!

Proof of the importance given to the motorbike at the IMS Luxembourg, Pole Position is proud to announce the presence of an awesome exhibition on the theme of 70 years of technological evolutions in competition! Set up in close collaboration with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, the renowned FIM, this FIM Historic Event will display quite simply exceptional racing machines, with an interactive part allowing the visitors to be bowled over…not forgetting the sound! Unmissable …

6.Ogier and Neuville’s muscle cars will be on hand!

And what about motorsport in all this? If the championships have a tendency to roll out over the entire year, rather dating the notion of an off season, IMS Luxembourg has managed to secure the presence of several champions that have no chance of going unnoticed! Kicking off with the DS3 WRC of the Frenchman Sébastien Ogier, not forgetting the Hyundai i20 Coupé WRC of the Belgian Thierry Neuville! The perfect opportunity to dive into the atmosphere of the World Rally Championship over the weekend of the final 2021 round with the ACI Rally Monza!

7.The FIA Rally Star in Luxembourg!

Devised by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, the FIA Rally Star is an ambitious programme to detect young talents aspiring to become tomorrow’s world champions! The first stage of the FIA Rally Star has been set up by numerous NSA, of which the Automobile Club du Luxembourg. A detection system taking in digital motorsport, also known as SIM Racing. On the occasion of the International Motorshow Luxembourg 2021, the ACL stand will welcome the official FIA Rally Star simulators, allowing all young Luxembourgers the opportunity to try their luck!

8.The Circus Trial Tour

The IMS Luxembourg also includes live action! At the heart of Luxexpo – The Box, Fred Crosset will be back with his renowned Circus Trial Tour! And this high wire walker battling with the laws of balance and the hall’s steel girders never fails to make his show interactive, calling on the general public’s support as soon as possible. All this in a highly ‘urban’ atmosphere … By way of a major Première, a trial motorbike manufactured by Electric Motion, will make an entrance. And here Christophe Bruand will ensure a show of an innovative nature! Quite clearly, here we can expect to enjoy the odd backflip!

9.The Arrepiado style of stunt

Ricardo Domingos Arrepiado, the stunt specialist is back in the Grand Duchy! The Portuguese has for many years been a master in the art of varying his entertainment, and his shows are a mouth-watering mix of motorbike, quad and car! And what a car, seeing the stuntman takes on the narrowness of the location at the wheel of a fearsome Smart producing an incensed sound! Thrills and sensations guaranteed in the interior courtyard of Luxexpo – The Box !

10.For the pleasure of the fans

Exhibition, action, current news, conviviality, the International Motorshow Luxembourg 2021 boasts all the ingredients to arouse one’s curiosity! Especially since this prestigious programme is backed up with the presence of artists, book distributors, official clothing and scale models.
