Motor Show The International Motor Show Luxembourg 2023 has broken all records!
Observers are unanimous: we haven't seen this for many years! For its 2023 edition, the International Motor Show Luxembourg has simply broken all records! From the start of the weekend, nobody wanted to miss the Pole Position car and motorcycle event. After an exceptional Saturday, Sunday saw an invasion of the halls of LuxExpo The Box. Cars and motorcycles remain interesting themes, especially when past, present and future are mixed in the most beautiful way possible.
In terms of highlights, IMS Luxembourg 2023 hit hard! Not only did the exhibition, spread over two levels, meet all expectations, but a succession of animations, each more spectacular than the other, has made an impression. Between the 'Globe of Death' featuring South American 'riders' in perfect collusion with the public, the stunt demonstrations by Arrepiado, and the drifting show led by 'local hero' Rohan Van Riel, visitors didn't know where to look first...
The first edition of the ‘Trophy of Champions’, which consisted of timed confrontations between LifeLive TN5 X-Cars in the Schilling Motor Show Arena, clearly excited fans, especially as there were many surprises! On Saturday, in a clash between Luxembourg drivers, Gil Linster (active in European NASCAR), surprised his opponents Gary Hauser (circuit), Bob Kellen (rally) and Kevin Peeters (Autocross)! On Sunday, it was the former Junior world rally champion Stéphane Lefebvre who qualified for the super final, to the detriment of Dylan Pereira (circuit), Adrian Fernémont (rally) and Chris Leesch (motorcycle endurance). And during the Super Final, held in wet conditions, Lefebvre beat Linster, who was fiercely encouraged! A perfect concept therefore, ready to grow…
At the end of these three intense days at the Kirchberg Plateau, the people of Pole Position were pretty satisfied. “The result exceeds all expectations, and it is the result of the incredible efforts of an entire team over the last few months,”comments Jean-François Elst on behalf of Pole Position. “After the first edition organized in 2021, still under Covid restrictions, we are delighted to have been able to set up this Motorshow in the way we wanted, to offer a qualitative event during which all car and motorcycle enthusiasts could gather. And families too, as was noticeable this Sunday. We would like to thank all the exhibitors who put their trust in us. It was a pleasure to see them smile all through the weekend. Building on the success of this event we will be able to continue the growth of the International Motor Show Luxembourg. We already have plenty of ideas for the 2025 edition! Thank you to everybody who contributed to this success. Everybody at the Pole Position team is pretty happy this Sunday evening…”
See you in the Fall of 2025…
