Motor Show IMS Luxembourg plunged into the atmosphere of 120 years of Harley-Davidson!

There’s no longer any doubt, the International Motor Show Luxembourg will definitely be ‘the place to be’ over the weekend of 10th, 11th and 12th November in the halls of LuxExpo, on the Kirchberg plateau. Not only will there be news covering cars, motorbikes and mobility, but there will also be a fair number of tributes. In this light a vast space will plunge visitors into a Harley-Davidson atmosphere, in order to celebrate the 120 years of the make created by William Harley and Arthur Davidson.

American manufacturer based in Milwaukee, in Wisconsin, Harley-Davidson is in fact the only make born at the beginning of the 20th century to have produced motorbikes under that name and without the slightest interruption to this day. Harley is one of the world’s leading motorbike manufacturers of large displacement engines, having produced machines renowned for their look, their bewitching sounding twin-cylinder in V engines and all the customisation possibilities that go with them.

To tackle the Harley-Davidson myth to celebrate the twelve decades of its existence is not a challenge to be taken lightly, Jean-François Elst in the name of Pole Position, organiser of the IMS Luxembourg commented. We could have lined up a few motorbikes, but that’s not our style. Some twenty machines, each more exceptional than the next, will be spread out over several areas in a typical US atmosphere! And among the Harley models displayed, there will be one dating from 1904, synonymous with the make’s great beginnings. A bar and a food-truck will allow the visitors of the International Motor Show Luxembourg to immerse themselves in that atmosphere that is one of the Harley-Davidson’s trademarks. Bikers can rest assured that we are going to honour this prestigious anniversary!”

All the more reason to jot down the dates of 10th, 11th and 12th November in your diary. The events within the event are set to multiply, ultimate proof that the IMS Luxembourg has entered a new era …
