Motor Show International Motorshow will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of Porsche
As recently announced, over the weekend of the 10th, 11th and 12th November the International Motor Show Luxembourg will return to the LuxExpo halls and to a public that has been faithful to it for near on a quarter of a century. Under the leadership of Pole Position, the event intends to hit the headlines by announcing a major exhibition focussed on the theme of 75 years of Porsche!
It was in June 1948, in the peaceful town if Gmünd, that Ferdinand Porsche launched the production of the very first car bearing his name: a 356 Roadster designed by Erwin Komenda. What followed is well known, as Porsche progressively becomes the dream machine that is more than ever a benchmark.
Three quarters of a century after the car had first seen the light of day and followed by many others produced in Stuttgart, the International Motor Show Luxembourg 2023 will act as the setting for a major exhibition retracing the fabulous Porsche saga. From the earliest 356 through to the Taycan, synonymous with electrification, taking in the racing machines, in particular the Le Mans Prototypes such as the 917, which contributed to developing the Porsche image, this enormous exhibition intends to illustrate everything that was behind the the success of the renowned make. As there are many Porsche enthusiasts in Luxembourg and the greater region, it goes without saying that this awesome exhibition will attract a large number of visitors.
Over the coming months Pole Position will gradually unveil the exhibition’s headliners. A question of not only whetting the appetite of the make’s fans, but also of heightening the prestige of the traditional end-of-year car-motorcycle event in the Grand-Duchy
See you soon …
