Motor Show A new take-off for the International MotorShow Luxembourg
Following a year filled with interruptions, the International Motorshow Luxembourg was back in action at the LuxExpo The Box this weekend with the Grand Duchy visitors for the 2021 edition which over and above all was one of a major challenge. In record time the Pole Position managed to produce an event doing justice to the last two decades, not without looking to the event in the future. In light of the general public that had wandered around the stands this weekend, it is fitting to state that the gamble paid off …
“Hazards and other uncertainties linked to the health crisis, added to which the present difficulties experienced in the automotive world, did not allow us to fulfil all the projects we had hoped to develop, Jean-François, in the name of Pole Position explained. Obviously, it would have been far simpler to postpone the event once more. But we did not wish to do this. In fact, this IMS Luxembourg 2021 was a perfect transition towards inevitably better days. And what we were unable to bring about this time around will surely be a reality in 2022 and the following years.”
With a Palais 9 delightfully dedicated to the makes, a noticeable presence of numerous motorsport jewels, a FIM Historic Event motorbike exhibition quite simply boasting quality and some spectacular highly appreciated entertainment, whether it be indoor with the Circus Trial Tour or outdoor with the fabulous Portuguese stuntmanRicardo Arrepiado, the IMS Luxembourg met everyone’s expectations.
“Now that we have come to the end of the weekend it’s the entire team’s never say die spirit that I wish to highlight,Christian Jupsin, the man in charge of Pole Position commented. My thanks to one and all for the fabulous work put in under difficult conditions. Jean-François Elst single-handedly carried this 2021 edition with the assistance of Francis Detaille. They can be truly satisfied to have taken on this improbable challenge.”
The rendezvous is already set for the end of 2022, with an IMS Luxembourg more than ever decided to take advantage of the impetus given at the end of November on the Kirchberg plateau…
